Special powers?: Accelerated learning: Blake learns at about double to triple the rate of a normal person in most cases, and is able to apply that into just about any situation given enough time.

History: Blake was always the gifted child in her school and in her family. She was born to an ordinary pair of parents and lived in a dull, boring family. However, something was special about little Blake.

First it started with her learning to walk... at six months, then she figured out how to get past the babyproof door handles not two months later. Blake was reading by two and started preschool at four, quickly outpacing her classmates. This contiuned as she graduated from High School at twelve, and college at fifteen, majoring in oddly enough a combo of English and Criminal Justice.

She took a few years off, living with her parents and self teaching herself whatever piqued her interest. She's fluent in about five languages now, including English, Chinese, Spanish, and a mad smattering of Arabic and other languages she comes across as a taxi driver. At the age of 20 she finally decided to enter the local police academy. There she met her future husband, and she lived happily ever after.

Except not really.

Three years later, her husband was shot and killed in the line of duty. For reasons only known to herself, she quit the force, moved to New York, and became a taxi driver of all things. She's thirty four now, and lives in a modest apartment, her only roommate is a cat she picked out of the streets one day. She calls him Francis.

Personality: Those who first meet Blake often afterward go “Dear god, what a bitch.” Blake is cynical and surly to the max, refuses to admit that tact is a word, could drink most random drunks on the street under the table. When she lost her husband, she really stopped caring about most things, and no longer has the will to try again in the land of love. She does love a good soap opera or romance novel, though.

She's surprisingly outgoing and has been known to do random acts of kindness as well. Blake is also in a bit of trouble with her supervisor and not collecting the full amount of payment from passengers when they don't have the money to pay and need a ride. She really doesn't care.

Appearance: Most people mistake Blake for a man at first, what with her short blonde hair and baggy clothes. She's a rather tall woman, and built very strongly. Her PB is VT from Cowboy Bebop.
